NEW YORK CITY (WABC) – Marchers, floats and giant balloons will descend when the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade returns to the streets of New York City for the 95th March.

Police expect large numbers of people to gather after last year’s pandemic absence, but there is no concrete, credible or positive threat, according to an NYPD assessment obtained by ABC News.

The parade includes 15 giant character balloons, 28 floats, 36 inflatables, over 800 clowns, 10 marching bands, 9 performance groups, and John Batiste and Kristin Chenoweth. , Alien, Kelly Rowland, Rob Thomas, Carrie Underwood, Santa Claus.

Balloons are flown on the Wednesday before the Thanksgiving flight, an inflation event held every year from noon to 6 p.m. For vaccinated guests only.
